I want to start off by saying that this was an awesome photo shoot! 🙂 I enjoyed it, and we can’t deny that this was a learning experience, a fun experience, and a relaxing experience as well. My fashion photography will get better, but right now its too cold 😦 So I will practice more inside, and finally face my fear of 3 point lighting haha. Natural lighting is so much better, but I need to step out of the box more.
I want to thank my model for helping me out, and for going along with my ideas. For her first time, she did an awesome job and I cant wait to be working with her in future projects. Thank you Jen!
As for the wintery holidays, I hope to be putting up some photography about that soon 🙂
Well, that’s all I have to say for now. Happy Holidays! and God Bless all of you 🙂
So for this photo shoot spot, I asked myself a couple of things. “What makes a woman powerful? What does a powerful woman look like? and where does she go to fill up her strength?” and I found the answer!
What makes a woman powerful? Wisdom! and the natural love for others.
Proverbs 31:26 She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue.
What does she look like? She looks like kindness, love, purity, and wisdom. A beautiful woman is not just beautiful on the outside, but she has to be beautiful on the inside too.
Proverbs 31:20-21 “She opens her hand to the poor and reaches out her hands to the needy. She is not afraid of snow for her household, for all her household are clothed in scarlet.”
Were does she go to fill up her strength?
She goes to Christ. The only one that gives true, and powerful strength……the only one.
2 Timothy 1:7 “God didn’t give us a spirit that is timid but one that is powerful, loving, and self-controlled.”
So this is my model Jen rocking the 40’s fashion shoot. I have found that if you photograph a model that is willing to go out of her comfort zone, out of that box, you will come out with amazing photos. From the beginning of our trip, God was already showing us his beauty. We traveled to the beautiful town of Harpers Ferry. Breath taking scenery full of history, and memories. We started taking pictures at the train station, a beautiful vintage view. When all of a sudden a train came by, and as a photographer I couldn’t have been happier haha. Trains make an amazing background, give awesome air that a fan could never achieve, and provide two beginner individuals an amazing experience. I am over all excited with Part 1 of our photo shoot. I am very proud of my model, the way she goes along with my crazy ideas, and I am very proud of myself for actually taking this idea and making it a reality. Over everything I thank God for giving me this talent that I plan to polish, and give Him all the40 credit. There will be a part 2 coming soon, and a part 3! 😀
